Because there's no better way to end a vacation that sucked than -not- being informed of chapter releases on time and only finding out past midnight.


Chapitre 162
The past comes apart

Ashura-ou: There is no longer anyone alive inside the castle, so

Ashura-ou: For people to kill.

Kurogane: if using it as much as you want would make it even stronger,
it'd become more difficult for that "kill people with magic stronger than your own" curse to work.

Kurogane: However,
Kurogane: in the past I just saw, he said:

Ashura-ou: If this is traced on your body, further growth of your magic powers will be restrained until the pattern disappears.

It'll be a problem if your magic power gets too strong by then.

Ashura-ou: The curse to "kill people with magic stronger than yours" that was placed on you
Ashura-ou: will be broken after one use.

Ashura-ou: must be me. (T/N: Like nearly every other "must" Ashura-ou has said up till now, he ate up the consequent -- Japanese "must" is usually in conditional form with a very negative consequent  -- so literally this says, "For the one I'll have you kill at that time not to be me...")

Ashura-ou: It's okay for you not to think about this.
Ashura-ou: You should
simply remember about my giving you the crest.

Kurogane: Showing us a past that would this easily come apart, what the heck are you planning?

Does the splash make anyone else think "Kyle/Xing Huo OTP"? XD (Crack pairing YAY!) Though I have to wonder what this means for Kyle. He was alive last we saw him, wasn't he? Also, is he even human? Considering I thought he was Eriol when I first saw him (and overlooking the fact that I first saw him in the TC anime), maybe he's also a "creation"? (I told ya, Reedcest for the win!)

YAY for psychotic Ashura-ou! No, really, psycho is pwnage. ^_^

Kurogane is teh awesome, but we already knew that.

I -still- don't understand how the first curse works. Didn't Fei Wang say it wouldn't be broken? Did he mean it couldn't be broken until used, or was it Ashura-ou who tampered with the curse? If so, Sakura had the devil's own luck, but we already knew that, too.

Ashura-ou, I love you very much, but please stop eating those dame/ikenai/naranai, will you?

So Ashura-ou had a backup plan to ensure Fai would kill him, and Fai managed to evade that too. (How? Did Ashura-ou mess up his calculations after all?) Isn't Ashura luck just -so- incredible? ><

Okay, so what -is- wrong with Ashura-ou's (and Fai's, for that matter) eyes?

And, CLAMP, second-curse-please-thank-you-very-much?
