Veeery late, I know. Blame it on Firefox's crappy memory management and on my computer's ridiculously small amount of RAM for a 64-bit machine. It seriously took me hours to close all open tabs before I could even download the chapter, and about four times more than I spent in translation and kanji lookup just to switch back and forth between Firefox and my image viewer. That sufficiently explains why I'm pissed off, doesn't it?


Chapter 139

Kohane-haha: You people,
what are you!?
Watanuki: Er... I...

Kohane-haha: What are you eating!?

Kohane: Tamagoyaki. It's delicious.

Kohane-haha: Don't I keep telling you that you must not eat things that have anything to do with killing!?

Side text: Like the tamagoyaki smashed on the floor, the uglily broken relation between parent and child. Can the bonds that are being formed with Watanuki and company shine light on Kohane's heart!?

Doumeki: ......

Kohane: This is about not killing anything, right?

Watanuki: The conversation with Kohane-chan... (T/N: Dangling object. I think he was going to eiher protest that he wasn't finished talking with Kohane, or throw at the psycho-bitch's face the fact that she doesn't have proper talks with Kohane.)

Watanuki: !?

Watanuki: Eh...?

Watanuki: Why is Haruka-san...?

Haruka: You mustn't.
Haruka: You mustn't come here right now.

Doumeki: Watanuki!!! (T/N: I'm assuming it's Doumeki speaking because Kohane calls him by first name and the psycho-bitch wouldn't bother with a name.)

Watanuki: ... Ah......

Doumeki: Close your eyes!

Doumeki: Where's the bathroom?
Kohane: This way.

Kohane-haha: W-what...?

Kohane-haha: Isn't it bad enough that they came without permission?

Kohane: Mother,

Watanuki: Meaning, that was a dream, right? (T/N: Your guess is as good as mine concerning what "that" refers to.)
Yuuko: Maybe.

Yuuko: Dozing off at such a tense scene, you're really something, aren't you, Watanuki?
Mokona (SFX): Really something!
Watanuki: An idiot, after all, am I?!

Why are there sakura petals floating about in the dream world right when Haruka stops Watanuki from going there?? *ominous feeling*

Page 9, second panel. I'm seeing things. Again.

From Mokona's expression on the last panel of page 13, I wonder if Yuuko's wish isn't downright impossible.

how much RAM do you have? O_o; firefox is really bad with memory, almost never releases it, but closing it and opening it again solves the problem... and is easier to close all the tabs at once...

That's the problem, I couldn't restart Firefox or use the "close all other tabs" command at the moment. It did improve a bit when I disabled Firebug (though I miss it a lot), but yesterday it was just so freaking annoying.

I have 512 MB of RAM on a single slot (which also sucks because my motherboard is dual-channel-enabled).

LOL, when you mentioned the Sakura petals I immediately thought Seishiro might be around... yes, yes, I know, wishful thinking even thought the psychobitch might make a bad use of her daughter's powers and turn into a threat for Japan.

Actually when I saw the scans I was hoping some sense snapped into Kohane's mother and she had realized throwing hot things at people isn't a good thing instead... she was complaining they were using the bathroom... That woman is mad...

Yeah, makes sense that Sakura called him, but how much use was Haruka stopping him? He got splashed all the same, and if he had fallen unconscious, Doumeki would have protected him anyway. Coupled with the petals floating about, maybe there's some kind of dangerous disturbance in the dream world right now. Such as, you know, the clone. (I can't wait to see how the heck CLAMP is going to explain his presence in the dream world, he's not supposed to be able to enter it.)

This week I'm late and only now I'm able to see this chapter, and WHAT CHAPTER!
The pychobitch is wicker than I aspected from spoiler!! Poor Watanuki, he is wounded again (but, thanks to the PB, I was able to see Doumeki as Prince who save his lover!And he says "Watanuki"!! XD)
Mh, Haruka seems to know so much about present and future things. I don't know why, but the last page, the one in which Yuukosan is standing alone, scares me so much. Because I know that next week is the last before Holic stop, so, or sure, something BIG and TERRIBLE will happen!

Yuuko is always kinda creepy when Watanuki isn't within earshot (the lines from the early volumes that make me think she isn't planning to be around for long were also spoken behind Watanuki's back), but it's really been getting worse lately...
