Watanuki: Sakura... chan...?

Sakura: You... know me...?

Side text: "Even if it's a dream, if beliefs, hopes, your loved ones are there, that becomes the truth." Before the eyes of Haruka who thus spoke, she was... there!! (T/N: The kanji for "truth" reads "reality".)

Watanuki: Know you, huh?
I have met you before...

Watanuki: Well, but
back then you were sleeping, Sakura-chan...

Watanuki: Um, it was in the garden of Yuuko-san's shop...
Sakura: This is... inside the shop?

Watanuki: Yes, but seems like it's different.
Watanuki: Er, Haruka-san was saying it was inside a dream...

Watanuki: He left again. (T/N: Literally, "he isn't there again".)

Sakura: I...

Sakura: ... was able to come into a dream.

Watanuki: ... Sakura-chan.

Watanuki: ... A dream again.

Watanuki: Yuuko-san...?

Yuuko: What's wrong,
at this time in the night? (T/N: Past midnight, probably.)

Yuuko: ... That's right. Did you meet Sakura-hime through a dream? (T/N: I'm using italics to differentiate between Yuuko's "meet", which carries a more dramatic meaning, and the normal "meet".)

Watanuki: Met her, you mean,
she appeared in a dream?
Yuuko: No, you met her.

Yuuko: Right now, the princess' soul is inside a dream,
separated from the body.
Watanuki: Separated, you say... Is that all right!?

Yuuko: If this keeps up for long, the soul won't be able to return to the body.

Yuuko: ... She will die.

Watanuki: Such a thing... Why...? (T/N: It's every translator's most beloved dangling object, yay! From how the sentence ends, I think he was going to ask why Sakura made this decision or why Yuuko is allowing it.)
Yuuko: Because nothing but the "soul"
can go to the world that the princess wished for, inside a dream.
Yuuko: The "body" cannot be taken into a dream.

Watanuki: But!
If something really happens to Sakura-chan because of that, then what about Shaoran-kun!?
Watanuki: I think certainly there are many other people who are worried...!

Yuuko: That you're now able to think like that

Yuuko: is because you chose to change yourself.

Yuuko: To change yourself means
Yuuko: to change the future.

Watanuki: ... Back when I had my fortune told,

Watanuki: she said that the butterfly is a sign.
Watanuki: The start of a change...

So, does everyone believe now that Sakura -is- in danger?

Yuuko is made of awesome! (Therefore, butterflies are awesome? XD)

Yuuko's line in page 9 made me think... What is about Sakura that changed from when she had the premonition? Was it the experience in the ruined world? Was it seeing Shaoran hurt in the tournament? (Hopeful fanbrat mode: Was it a change of attitude concerning the damn clone?) It'd be kind of stupid for the premonition to appear when she has already "changed", so back when she had the premonition, she probably hadn't "changed" yet.

Next week is a holiday break if I'm not mistaken and the one after that is, unfortunately, a Tsubasa-only week. Holic will be back on the 14th (accordingly to the schedule, but we'll probably only have raws on the 16th).

空耳ＷＡＬＬＰＡＰＥＲ！ (Um, yeah, it's from the chapter, and it might be a huge spoiler depending on what happens later. You have been warned.)

Yup, it's fixed now. The week after that is the one with Tsubasa and no Holic. We get a Holic-only week following that, though.

Thanks for the translatons ^-^ OMG Yuuko gets cooler and cooler! *is flabergasted by the coolness of the butterfly transformation*

I'm thinking Yuuko and Watanuki's dreams did cross, that Watanuki walked into Yuuko's dream...because he's not wearing his glasses...maybe I'm crazy, but I think the only time we see him not wear them is when he's dreaming...he can scarcly see without them so I don't think he'd wander around without them....

Good point about the glasses. I suppose Watanuki's eyesight improved a bit after the eye incident, but I'm not sure by how much. I think this time it might not be a dream and Yuuko's transformation would related to why she doesn't get wet in the rain, but it might be some funky cross between the dream world and "reality" (if there's such a thing in Holic), too.

But I'm still confused of when Watanuki woke up from last last chapter or if he ever woke up at all. Usually when he sleeps over at Yuuko's place he just sleeps on a futon. The other time he had to sleep on a bed with those curtains was after falling on those windows. O_O

Hopefully after a two week break we'll finally find out whats going on in HOLiC.

He was in that bed in 132. We also saw Yuuko after going out of Watanuki's field of vision back then, so it wasn't a dream. I remember thinking, "Watanuki is in trouble," when I saw him in that bed (from all the butterflies, I'd guess it's Yuuko's).

[info]herm_nefer made a good point about Watanuki's glasses, but maybe his eyesight allows him to walk about in a familiar place. From volume 8, apparently his right eye is 1.0 after the eye incident. It should allow him to move around without glasses if he closes the other eye.

BTW I meant that he doesn't usually sleep on what you call Yuuko's bed unless something's gone terribly wrong.

You're right about the eye thing. Although I don't think he can see very far.

Oh and kasumitodo.splinder.com updated their CLAMP gallery! It has that pic with a crown on Watanuki as you've seen. Also Rikuou and Kazahaya on a bed. Sakura with cat ears. And a pic of Watanuki, Haruka and Doumeki together~!

YAY, thanks for the link!

1.0 is troublesome at close range (unless the Japanese inverted the meaning of the sign), so with his left eye closed, I think he'd be able to see greater distances pretty normally. Random thought: if Watanuki was originally nearsighted, I wonder what kind of face the glasses salesperson made when he went to have the lens replaced. XD

Spoilers for 135 should arrive on the 11th, around 9:00 PM JST. Why must we wait for so long? I want more Holic too! T_T

Pages 12-13 pwn all! Sigh... I wish I could color images without the brightness of the colors I pick hurting my eyes and my aesthetic sense so I could get a wallpaper out of them.

CLAMP is amazing. Simply unexpected.

So everything that's happened in HOLiC has been Watanuki's dream? Because that would be shocking.

I'm starting to wonder about Watanuki's identity, actually. I wonder if he's related to Clow Reed in any way (because most CLAMP characters with glasses are related to Clow XD)

I've wondered about Watanuki's identity and true condition for a while now, but 133 (and this) made me start to wonder about Yuuko as well. Where is she really? Is she a being escaped from a dream, and whose dream? Did someone escape from her dream?

And, of course, one has to wonder about which is the Holic physical world. Could this all be Watanuki's death dream, and the Holic physical world is actually the 132 world?

Oh yeah. I love Holic so much!

BTW, in the first page...is that an advertisement for a Holic PlayStation 2 game? 'Cause that would be awesome!

It's saying that it was decided to make the game. I don't know how final that is, though. (Anyway, it's good that it's for the PS2, I probably won't be able to buy a PS3 for a couple of years.)

I second that, PS3 is too expensive right now (importers are charging around U$S 1200 for it here in Argentina, it's outrageous! *frown*)

Thank you so much for sharing all these translations! I used to keep up so faithfully, and then I let it slide for a while, but I'm finally caught up! And man, is my jaw completely on the floor after all of this. O_o I don't even know where to start gasping and spluttering. CLAAAAMP! Oh Em Gee!!

Anyway, I do believe I'll be friending your journal if you don't mind. I wish my Japanese were nearly good enough to read the manga on my own, but for now I've got to rely on those whose skills are far superior. So thanks for being there to be relied upon!

Yes, I believe everyone who's taken a break from Holic and TRC lately will react similarly. ^_^ Holic is always great, but the start and middle of Infinity were such a drag, it almost wasn't worth it.

Advice from someone whose great accomplishment almost one year ago was being able to understand the Sakura/Subaru convo in Acid Tokyo: Keep reading! Try to understand by yourself, check translations, clear up grammar doubts, pay attention to the kanji. And, you're welcome!
